Stuck at home with a cold, what better way to kill time with few gear shots.
This is the Nikon Z7 with the 24-70 S mounted on the recently released Crane 3 LAB and the Atomos Ninja V.
It works a dream except for the added weight of all the gear and a bit of a nightmare to stabilize the camera with the Ninja V mounted on top. Plan an hour to get it right and then leave it there! Bye Bye Ronin-S.
The other issues I faced is that I can either connect the Z7 to the Ninja V HDMI or connect the Crane 3 to the HDMI as only one HDMI slot is available on the Z7. Whichever way, you end up with lots of cables.
I do not use the WiFi with my mobile but only the Ninja V.
The WiFi is more practical with the Weebill LAB and the XT3
The Ninja V works great and is simple to use and shoot 4:2:2 - 10 bits - Full Frame.
Obviously you need a well equipped post station to grade and edit all the material and know your grading.
The Crane 3 is very practical and does all movements required at the touch of a button.
I have not tried the Ninja V on my Fuji XT3 and it is mounted on a very light and almost pocketable Weebill LAB and is a must for proper video shooting.

I'm getting acceptable results with the Z6, Weebill and 24-70mm f4s—at the 24mm focal length. Keep in mind that length won't permit much more beyond the 24mm focal length with this lens.
I also tried to use the Tamron 17-35mm OSD + FTZ and the length wouldn't permit usage with this combination.
Here's some results using the Z6, Weebill, 24-70mm and 50mm.
Fantastic! You guys are really making it hard to fight GAS
I have my Z7 set up with the Ninja V and Ronin-S. The Z7 uses the top port (USB-C) to connect to the Ronin-S and the middle port (HDMI) to connect to the Ninja V.
