LR/DPP had a lot of purple compared to DPP. This is LR8 with the new Process Version 5.

ISO 32,000 and all I did was change the version number. First image is version 4.

It's different - I just don't know if it's better.

For one I now see a cyan(ish) cast in areas that were more neutral before. But change is good - it means there is work being done and maybe the new process version has other benefits too that are not as obvious, and the old process is still available and you can compare the two results (I probably would even try to merge the two - maybe the two color casts cancel each other out)...

I see that cast all over the image. I never adjusted the WB. I remember that thread. It was a woman singing on a stage. DPP clearly kicked LR/PS/. No matter how much I tried I couldn't get rid of that purple. All considered this is a pretty decent improvement and welcome improvement. More than I expected.
