Mainline site is showing it as 'unavailable', meaning I guess they have not yet received shipment. $A995. Give them a call maybe, to check when. As our dollars sinks, lenses like this come more strongly into frame.
Looking at Fred's comments on lack of copy variation in his copies, it occurs that this issue might be related to lens speed, faster might be subject to more variation. Maybe.

Guy, Fred... please: to make it clear, does the mid-dip occurs only focusing at far distances / infinite or it also happens focusing at shorter distances? If the second option is true, is the mid-dip equal or smaller? Thanks.
p.13 #10 · Voigtlander 21mm f/3.5 Color Skopar Review
As a practical summary of the findings relative to differences in sharpness-micro contrast of the CV 21 vs the Loxia 21, I propose the following:
Both lenses focused at infinite:
At f /3.5 - Center: L21 better ■ Mid: V21 mushy and washed out (even focusing on Mid) ■ Corner: L21 better.
At f /5.6 - Center: L21 slightly better ■ Mid: L21 more than slightly better ■ Corner: L21 slightly better (also in vignetting).
At f /8.0 - Center: very similar ■ Mid: L21 very slightly better ■ Corner: very similar, with L21 slightly better in vignetting.
And also the following statements:
• Mid- dip of V21 only occurs at distance-infinity focus; it is quite localized (reduced area); it only has practical significance (relative) up to f /5.6 and very little or none at f/7.1 - 8.0
• Up to f/6.3 the described differences appear when inspecting crops at 100%. At Fit Screen - 50% are (almost) undetectable from f/5.6 in center and corners and from 6.3 in mid frame.
• Since f/7.1 sharpness-microcontrast of V21 is 95% of that of L21. At f/7.1 - 8.0, even at 100% the difference is only noticeable (looking carefully) in Mid frame; in the center and corners the difference is practically indistinguishable.

I tired 3 different focusing points. Best seems to be a hair short of the hard stop. But the differences is extremely small. Im not seeing anything closer in than infinity. Been scouring my files and nada
