Thanks Morris. They look fine to me. I didn’t see any other comments referencing a bluish tone. I’ve been conducting one on one and small group workshops ever since some local eagle photographers asked me to in 2009.

Hi Louie. I’m glad to be your first introduction into the night heron display. The yellow crowned seems to have a more pronounced display of back and wing feathers than the black crowned, although I’ve documented both species displaying along with little blue herons as well.
