This sunset was taken earlier this summer. I travelled for 2 months throughout the Rockies so will be posting a few more.

Beautiful scene. I really like the pano crop.
The foreground grass with golden light and mountains in back is very striking.

Thanks for all the comments! The funny thing is that this location was under a mile from my campground, and I was just going to check it out to try out different compositions... my plan was to return for sunrise. I did, but those photos didn't turn out as nice as the "test" shot! During most of my stay in Stanley, the mountains were covered in smoke from the wildfires. I was able to clean them up a bit, but I'd love to go back when it's clear.

Thanks! Multi shot pano, and if I remember correctly, each shot was focus stacked.

I have lived south of here in Ketchum, ID for 40 yrs and have seen this views many times. Great photo of a beautiful place - thanks for posting this.
