This fall has been kind to me in terms of finding warblers and other migrants. I was able to get a couple of lifers in decent light and poses. The migration is now coming to an end in Minneapolis so I will have to wait until next spring to get more lifers..

wow, amit very nicely done. Loved the bokeh on many of these. a lot of these are new to me.
TFS. Voted.
Thanks for the comments and the vote, KD. I was lucky to get many of these with decent backgrounds for a change. Always have a lot of leaves and branches in the way. I don't shoot from a hide but instead wander around so it is always hard to get the best light, pose and background at the same time given that these little birds hardly stay in one place.

This is an excellent set of images. All very well done but I particularly like the house wren. A common bird but an uncommonly excellent image.
Dave
Thanks, Dave. This wren was really curious about my lens and came out of the bush to land really close (about 8-10 feet). Doesn't happen too often to me. Usually I am the one chasing them around the bushes.

Great collection of fine captures, Amit.

Amit: IMO, these images are as sharp as *any* supertelephoto prime can render.
Robert
Thanks, Robert. In good light and at close distances, the Tammy does give great pictures. I am still lusting after one of the those f4 primes because of their low light capability and rendering. I had rented the Nikon 500/4 for a recent Ecuador trip and it was such a joy getting sharp images in real crappy light.
