..Well maybe not "chasing" but closely tracking the regional forecasts and being prepared to pack and go on short notice. Following are 3 images that I captured on two successive evenings last week during a quick shot into the backcountry. I have been to these locations maybe 1/2 dozen times over the last decade but the lighting conditions were never quite right. Fortunately last week everything came together. C&C welcome. Thanks, Dave
Fine work on these, Dave. I especially like the 1 & 3. Great light in the 2nd but the dominant positioning of the fuzzy reflection is distracting for me. IMO it would be stronger with a substantial crop (16x9?) from the bottom so that part of the refection becomes foreground.

Thanks for the feedback. I see what you're saying on the reflection. Have to see if I have another exposure with a clearer reflection.
Your images are always amazing. I'm particularly a fan of the 1st one, but all are good. It's takes special talent to take cloudy conditions like that and make them look good.
