Found this little one yesterday morning sneaking through the brush with her mom. I didn't see her until she took a step while standing in the slight clearing. Amazing how those little spots act as natural camouflage.

Amazing how at first glance the spots don't seem like much of a camouflage but in practice they're highly effective. Mother nature knows what it's doing

It always amazes me to see how such a large animal can simply disappear before your very eyes. Yep, mother nature got it right with so many of her creatures.
It's been awhile. Once the "shooting season" hits I rarely get much time to join in on the assignments. I've got a huge backlog created now that will keep me busy well into the winter months.
