Is this desert view?
Sorry, I am not sure what the question is? If it is about location, it is my policy out of conservation not to disclose lessor known locations. Anyone with Google Earth and a few hours on their hands can find special locations on the Grand Canyon (or anywhere else) and ways to get to them... that is what I do.

Your Grand Canyon stuff is always so technically perfect. And do you ever NOT get amazing light there?
Wow, a serious thank you for the amazing compliment!
The key is threefold.
1.Study weather (precipitation charts for the year) and go when chances are highest for great light. (July through Sept, sometimes Oct).
2. Stay for long periods of time (I'm here about 4+ months a year, for over 10 years now).
3. Also, learn to study immediate weather intensively and respond to it!
Just two weeks ago I took a FM member out to the SW and we chased a massive thunderstorm to this very location, and it paid off HUGE! But we were watching multi-radar reports constantly. Sometimes I feel like a storm chaser!
All the best to you!
