I was fortunate to spend a day at Pt. Reyes National Seashore with Daniel Dietrich who is Pt. Reyes Safaris. We had a wonderful day with the best sightings in the early morning albeit with fog, mist and very very low light. This necessitated shooting at high to very high ISO. But the variety of wildlife there was astounding.

Thanks Keith....I was lucky to have badger sightings on both of my visits....not typical I'm told.

Great captures of the skunk, badger, and lynx Eric!

Thanks Douglas....glad you like them....happy that I had the right end of the skunk pointed at me. This is the best area on the planet to see bobcats but I have yet to get THE shot I want....the last visit would have been perfect except for heat waves that made virtually every shot unusable.

Great set Eric with 4 and 7 my picks. I'd be happy to have taken any of these.

Thanks Morris....it is such a fabulous place....there are multiple species yet to be photographed by me out there during various season including grey whales, elephant seals, grey foxes. And it being so close to San Fran makes it an easy day trip. I didn't include the osprey dives and peregrines with fledged juvis in this post but did spend an hour with them. I did just add a shot of the adult back lit against the cliff face.
You really lucked out with so many wildlife species. I've been there many, many times and still haven't seen a skunk, badger, bobcat or peregrine falcon. Well done.
P.S. An occasional mountain lion may show up too. And if you drove up the road to the Tomales Point you would see elk herds.

You can drive to Tomales Point?

I did see elk, both this and the first time. I will add the elk photo at the end of the original images. There was a lot of bugling last week as the rut is about to start....right now the young stags are using up a lot of useless energy.
And yes, I know there are mountain lions and would have been chuffed to see one but I saw the local little cat predators and that was awesome too.

Eric, amazing set. I am really enjoying these shots. Such beautiful atmospheric quality to them.
All wonderful , but a few really stand out for me.
1. What a gorgeous shot go the owl. Absolutely am in entranced by the environment, the fog and composition. You have managed to capture the feel of the it, from the wet look of the owl to the muted colors.
7. Great action shot. Loveing all the similar tones.
12. Those cliff walls really add to this shot with the lines and tones. The light on the bird is beautiful.
All those complimentary tones are very pleasing. I personally would remove the bird dropping
