24-70 GM is good like the CY, somehow I think the pictures are quite "3D" too. but more flare and distortion, and to me, changing FL a bit would cause me miss focus is a bit annoying.
The weak spot @35mm in the CY is still quite good if stop down a bit so for me it is still excellence when I shoot cityscape, unless I need faster aperture (need shorter exposure).
My CY (purchased in Map camera Tokyo) seems excellent in my Rayquel adapter. The lens itself is best bang for the buck among my gears (the adapter is not since it is not cheap and I have only one CY lens at the moment)
