p.1 #1 · EN-EL15/MH-25 vs. EN-EL15a/MH-25A

The older EN-EL15 batteries are losing it and I noticed that the replacement battery is the EN-EL15a. Are there any issues with using the MH-25 rather than the newer MH-25A to charge the EN-EL15a? The three current MH-25 chargers are just fine so it would be nice to avoid buying any MH-25A if possible.

I have both types of chargers and batteries, and don't seem to have any issues interchanging them. I believe the MH-25A and MH-25 are functionally identical

i use the nitecore UNK1 chargers. good qualty and supports all my enel15 batts

Nikon once told me the MH-25 won't charge the newer EN-EL15a batteries fully. Never tried it for myself.

I've never had a problem with EN-EL-15A batteries in the older MH-25 charger.

After your post earlier this year, I got myself one. Amazing little thing and yes, it charges all my enel15s and EnEL14(a)s.
