A little of this and a little of that. All taken with the D850 and 500mmpf lens the last 2 days. Some of the photos are pretty big crops. I wish the Kestrel had been on a natural perch instead of a power line but I don't get many photo opportunities on them so i figured what the hell. Critiques and comments always welcomed!!!!
Not used to seeing this much white on the chest with so much white on the head and tail. Only 1 maybe 2 molts left for an all white head. Frosted Eagle for breakfast!
Another Fieldfare and again shot thru the window in my backyard in Amsterdam. This time with the D500.

A week of bad weather has provided me with a bit of time to process some pre-pandemic work from Costa Rica... some of my unprocessed work now stretches back a decade (embarrassing for sure). These were taken in 2019... I was fortunate to have received my 500PF early, so by then I begun to be really comfortable with lens... paired with a D500, this continues to be a powerful combination for wildlife shooters.
