Beautiful set Greg! Great work on the snow scenes also, you nailed those shots!

I love the added bonus of a buffalo skull in #5. If you have the pixels, which I'm guessing you do, I might crop in a little on that one to add more emphasis the the bear and skull.

I was just processing some more of my black bear images and the very first thing I noticed on yours is how long their fur is compared to our warm weather beach bears out here on the right coast.

Now please stop posting these gorgeous shots. You're gonna make mine look like crap.

Excellent set! I particularly like 4 and 6. Love the colors in 4, the look of focus on the bear, and the amount of space he takes up in the frame. 6 to me is just a classic with a fabulous depth of field effect and the way you captured the side of the bear flat to your camera revealing good detail from snout to back paw. Love the layering with the white snow, blue sky, and bear in between.

Dave, That feedback on cropping I really like - thank you for that. I have also noticed the
fur being different for cold vs warm climate bears. And the truth is, you and others help inspire me to get better !

Thanks Ken - It does look like rhubarb. It was a piece of a fiberglass snow stick that marks the edge of the road for the plow operators. Rhubarb, that's funny, now I'm hungry.

We probably passed each other. I was leaving the park on the 24th. I was in the park from May 6th to the 24th. Your work is incredible and I always enjoy viewing your posts. Thank you for the kind words and viewing. I truly do appreciate it.
