p.1 #1 · Rotolight Aeos my Real world review

Hello!
So I finally had time to finish my video review of the Rotolight Aeos. Lost some footage sadly due to a hardware issue (ie a laptop grew legs and walked away lol).
Anyways, I hope the footage and samples can show you what the light can do.
Overall I enjoyed it, specially for my studio work but for outdoors I still want more power for my specific shooting style. I am sure for others it could be enough.
I will be trying the Anova Pro 2 next which is supposed to double the Aeos power.

Any questions, let me know.

Nice review Gabriel.

I played with the Rotolight Pro 2 with skyport a while back.

Nice panels, but quite limited in terms of power and ability to shape lights.

I use Hedler lights when I need LED's but I liked the Skyport implementation in the Rotolight.

Great review and shots man.

I am thinking about picking up one of the aputure light storm fresnel lights as I can use my bowens modifiers and umbrellas with it. The rotolight seems really overpriced for their output

Thanks a lot for the kind words!
I am trying to get one of those as well for test as I am always looking for the best option for my money of course.

The aputure is kind of a weird color temp as it's tungsten - I'd prefer daylight balanced and then just gel it for tungsten.

Edit - apparently depends on the light, aputure makes a tungsten and daylight white balance fresnel LED light, but it depends on the model.

Thanks a lot for your review! Very interesting.

I'm thinking about the Profoto B2 and the Rotolight AEOS (or even NEO 2) at the moment. I know, quite different products. What kind of confuses me is that I've read in multiple forums now that the Rotllight lights are rather suitable for advanced "users of light" while I thought that seeing what you get before you take the photo helps beginners like me!
