Yellow Crowned Night Herons, I captured these last year during a few of my heron workshops. Some were edited last year, but I never posted any of these until now.
Just lovely Herb, but I don't know how you could have taken these with Canon gear since we've been told that it can't AF for BIF! Thanks for sharing these wonderful captures.

Great shots Herb but I can't say i would disturb a bird with eggs in a nest to get a picture !
I'm not sure where you received your info that I disturbed a bird with eggs or even disturbed a nest for that matter ? The eggs shot was taken from a public sidewalk which has thousands of walkers, joggers and cyclists passing by on it, on a daily basis. I've also have been volunteering for various state and federal fish and wildlife agencies (NJFWS, NYDEC, USFWS, CWF of NJ ), for 10 plus years as well as providing valuable behavior data, band numbers to biologists which work with endangered species, so I'm well aware of keeping respectable distances away and using only ethical methods to obtain my shots. I appreciate your concerns, but the bird or nest was never disturbed by me at any time.

Sincere apologies Herb, I jumped to conclusions without any facts
