Hi TS

The Cessna Caravan flight (24hrs prior) crashed killing all 10 pax and the pilot, I flew that same scheduled flight/route the next day and was the only pax on that plane that knew what had occurred the day before, pretty hairy stuff, I can tell you.

You certainly captured some iconic images here. Superb stuff, with limited equipment. I've never been to that part of Tanzania before. Do you use private guides and vehicles? Congrats!

These are simply fantastic! I love each and every image in your post and love the story that these photos suggest. In addition, I applaud your adaptability (though you had little choice), as nothing can be more discouraging than when your gear goes down in the field. Way to make the most of what you had left in the bag!

Plane crash incident is really worry.
Wonderful angle and loved the images. If you don't mind - how you managed to get such low angle. Would like to know and appreciate your comments. Actually i am planning a trip in June so would be helpful.

Thanks Don,

where possible I will always use a private vehicle and guide as not many are prepared to suffer waiting/tracking 8/10 hours for the possibility of something happening and if I find like minded people whilst in camp I'll often invite them to join me.
