Nice set Scott. Not sure which I like best ... probably the first or third. Did you consider a vertical crop on the second one? Just a thought. I hope you are doing well!

beavens: Glad you like wildlife and 1. Thanks for your feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
dwa652: I tried portrait orientation on 2 but it just felt too disjointed and then when I was there I tried lower and could not get a good reflection. I would have had to move even closer and get in Dan's way. Glad you like 1,3. Doing well. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
junglialoh: it is a fantastic place. Glad you like them. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
keepclicking: Glad you like 2. I will go look again about what I can do with 2 and other shots that are agreeable to portrait. But I think in order to make portrait I need to be low and then either move in really tight on water (which would have been in front of Dan) or the reflection would not have been on the right spot. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
lookoutscout:It is really beautiful country. Its easy to forget when you are struggling at -30 in the cold on a cloudy day, but this day was great. Glad you like 2. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
Very nice set of photographs on Mt. Chephren. I always wanted to take pictures of this location like the ones you have here. Without snowshoeing into, it was not possible for me.
It looks like that you cropped the images. My wish is to see more of the foreground bottom.
lostinjapan: Glad you like the 2nd with he golden mountain. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
Kee Woo Rhee: This spot is very easy with snowshoes - maybe 500meters with 10% pitch. So you should do it the next time. I am looking at my crops. I tend to favor 16x9 because it matches up with landscapes for me. But I appreciate the suggestion and I will try it. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
Hi Scott, seems like a location with great potential. I like #2 the most because it is the most balanced and simplest comp. The other ones have too much going on in the FG, with lines pointing in many directions. The full lighting on the peak in #2 is a bit distracting, do you have one with that comp when the sun was just kissing Chephren? Or maybe process it to subdue it and darken the periphery of the frame a bit?
The first is my favorite. Beautiful subject and lighting! Glad you included the one with the person in it because my initial impression about the scale of the foreground was quite off! I thought I was looking at something much smaller
