I'm currently deployed, so I only brought a small selection of camera gear, but I was able to get off base last weekend and came away with some shots I'm really happy with of the downtown Doha area:

I think the forum doesn't care period. That is unless you're a frequent poster in the specific forum or even thread. I think your photos are fantastic. Having been there, that's not the easiest place to shoot. I like the last one but 3 is also very good. I'd personally crop abit less and leave more space at the top of the first 4 but that's nitpicking. Good shots.
Yeah, ideally I would have shot this with my 24mm PC-E or shot wider @ 20 or 21mm, but I was limited to my 24-120 and 50mm f/1.8. I was trying to avoid having to do more extreme keystone corrections so the shot ended up a little tight. Thanks for the feedback and compliments!
