p.1 #1 · 2 Images of lupine taken 180-degrees apart from one another
Congratulations to Adam_A for winning Feature Thread of the Week with 7 votes - View Previous Winners
These were both taken at Mt. Lassen National Volcanic Park in northern CA. I took one shot, turned around 180-degrees, and took the other. Rarely do I shoot opposite the sun, but the clouds lit up nicely in both directions that evening.
Both images were taken with a Canon 5dmkIV and 16-35/4 lens.

Thank you Ryan. That 16-35 is glued to my camera.

Yeah...I loved it as well, but sold mine to help fund my 24-70 F/2.8 MKII. I actually just got an Irix 15mm a couple days ago to handle that 16mm that I miss from the 16-35 I had.

Super shots Adam, I especially like the first one with its crispness. I just picked up a f4 16-35. Hope I can get images half this good with it.
Thank you. 16-35 is a workhorse. The 11-24 will be my next lens. $$$ :-(

These are both gorgeous! I'm glad you turned around as I think that one is the winner between these magical images. Nice processing that sets the mood perfectly.
