This is a follow up post to "November Gales". When the fall winds pick up on Lake Erie the results can be spectacular. On Tuesday, we had 35 knot winds from the south west, The waves hit the pier and are reflected back into the oncoming waves, causing collisions and a lot of spray, There is no pattern to the wave collisions, so you have to watch and be quick! This type of shooting can be addictive, and cold!
When seeing your subject title, the Gordon Lightfoot song about the "Edmund Fitzgerald" instantly popped into my mind.
Great job and fantastic images! Angry waves!!!

You captured them all beautifully. What gear did you use?
Alan
Thanks!
For these I used a Canon 5d IV and 500 F4 on a tripod. Looking into using a 1.4 to fill the frame a little more, but then you might miss the really big ones!
