Really like the comp in both, but the processing of #1 wins for me, the colors in #2 transition a little rough and look a little more processed on my screen.

Very nice Scott. I prefer #1. I vowed not to go there for at least a year but I broke down and went three weeks ago. I still need to have a look at the photo's.

I like the color and tones of the first one. Other than the excessive noise and smeared clouds, I like the look of the first one better than the second. The stacking obviously allowed you to correct those issues on your second image, but I don't care for the red in the clouds that appears to lack detail from being blown out.
I very much prefer the tighter composition of the second.
I still need to have a look at the photo's.
