I've been doing some shooting with the Sigma 135 and the Canon 24-70ii on both the MC-11 and Metabones iv.
Id say as of right now, Sigma with their 'advanced' mode and the MC-11 is the best in low light. In good light, Metabones in green mode is fastest and has the best eye AF. Advanced mode on the Metabones is unusablely bad at the moment.
So pretty good all around so far but there are some quirks that I'm pretty confident will be ironed out when Sigma and Metabones rolls out their firmwares.
Depends on which lenses you are using with it.
I am still doing tests and uploading short videos of those tests and at this point, if you are using Sigma lenses, I would go with the Metabones because green mode feels pretty much like native when it comes to Eye AF and regular AF. If you are using non Sigma lenses, then so far it looks to me that at least with my lenses, the MC-11 works just as good as the Metabones for less money.
You can see a couple of tests here and keep an eye for more uploads as I test daily.

I found the total opposite as shown on my video. I would only use the MC-11 on non Sigma lenses with the A9 and R3 personally. You get fully usable Eye AF with the Metabones in continuous mode as I showed on that small video.

I'll have to test this again but the issue I ran into with the Metabones is low contrast objects in low light. The mc-11 fared better there.
Eye AF in general is better on the Metabones for sure.
What is this shutter like sound which comes after you shut off the camera...sometimes. Other times its just a hint of something moving inside to close kind of sound.

I will have to test that as well. Also want to test how tracking works with both. So many tests. I need to sit down and write the down
I've just noticed that you can set the S&Q Motion setting (slow and quick) to 1fps (one frame per second).
That means we do have a built-in time-lapse on the camera!
I just spoke to Adobe again about LR and now they say that LR 6 will NOT be updated to work with the A7RIII. So the information I was given yesterday was false. So now I have to get used to some other system to work with after years of using LR. Bad information from Adobe.
Is this only in 1080 or can we also get the slower frames to 4k?
I'm still hoping, but not expecting, for an update that gives an internal intervalometer if possible, plus the other app functions that were in the play memory apps

My A7Rm3's first shot. I haven't been able to process RAW files so having to shoot JPEGs now. I do like colors from SOOC Jpegs better than those of my A7II.

This dispute is probably about Mystik shooting AF-S and GabrielPhoto shooting AF-C
