My 7A 50 1.1 that is sharp in the center at 1.1 on my M240 is very glowy on my Nikon Z7
So I got the lens. Initial findings are this: build quality was OK, bokeh is better than expected (a little less crazy than anticipated at least in limited testing), f1.1 is soft but glowy, while stopping down to f1.2 sharpens the center nicely.
I have an A7RII, by the way. This lens is not quite as sharp in the center at f1.2 as my nFD 50/1.4 at f1.4, but close enough.
Just got the lens. Actually very surprised by the results. Will make a nice addition to my M10. Close down to 1.4 and it sharpens up very nicely. These are both around f1.4/2
