This is the view from the hill above the town of Pangnirtung on Baffin Island. The end of this fjord was our pickup point after two weeks long hike across the island.
Just after a warm shower (the first one in two weeks), a good meal and a night spent in a real bed, my energy came back to its regular level. So I took the opportunity of an extra day that we had and scrambled hills above the town to take last photos of the trip. The beauty of this fjord was mesmerizing and inspiring and it made me decide to go back and explore it again.

Amazing! Was this a self-guided trip or a tour led by a wilderness/expedition company? Would you care to share some details about your trip?
Many thanks. I lead photo tour there every year. If you need more information, please send me a private message or visit my website www.arturstanisz.com.

This is really nice! Though after a two week hike I doubt I would get out of bed for another two weeks. Bafffin Island is definitely on my list.
Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, everybody, for your comments! The place is from outer space.
Ryan, 2 weeks of hiking only sounds scary. It is so beautiful there and so many photographic opportunities that time flies fast and you won't even notice when the end of trek comes. Then you don't want to leave. It has been only a month since that time and I am already missing the place.

Artur,
Thanks for the kind reply. I will definitely have to do a little more looking into Baffin Island. I looked at your site and the images from Baffin are spectacular.
