Hi guys, it's been a while since I've posted! I've been very busy with fall family sessions as well as running the training side of my business. I wanted to peek in and share a few of my favorite fall images of some of my own kids. Fall lasts a long time in Arizona. You can find it as early as late September in higher elevation areas like Flagstaff as the aspens begin changing color, and it is STILL fall in the lower elevations all the way through December. We are pretty lucky in that respect as we have such a wide range of landscapes here.
In no particular order, here are some of my personal favorites from the 2017 autumn thus far...
1
2 Our new and HUGE puppy, Yeti! He's a Great Pyrenees and only 5 months old now. He's going to be a giant!
3
4
5 We even get fall flowers!
6
7
8 My oldest daughter, Calista, and her sweet boyfriend, Tyler. They go to college together in Flagstaff.
9
10 Elliott has missed his big sister SO much since she left for college! His little smile says it all.
11 My 2 youngest boys being silly and laughing about fart jokes. haha!
12 My 2 youngest! They ADORE each other!
13
14 This was a 48 image panorama taken with my 200L. It nearly did my computer in trying to stitch them all together in Photoshop. I ended up cropping much of the background out as I felt it wasn't necessary, but I left some of it there to tell more of a story with this one.
15
16 These are real leaves, not overlays! Daddy was tossing them which she found fascinating and funny!
17 These grasses are growing right near our house, and catch the light so beautifully in the evening. I had to put my little music man in them for a few photos!
18 Sylvie loved the orange leaves on this bush! This age is so fun, everything is a new discovery.
Curious why you needed 48 images to pull off number (14). I have seen similar images with similar light and DOF that were taken with a single shot (especially with the 200L).
Thank you all for the kind words! I had a few more I wanted to add of one of my older boys, Adrian, but I cannot edit my original post. I will just add them here. Tween/teen boys seem very under represented in the photography community, so here is one of mine!
In the last one, it really looks like you added the leaves in PP. Not sure they add anything to the photo, in fact, when I cover the leaves with my hand, it presents as a much stronger photo...
