A new shot from here in White Sands, NM.
The hot summer sun along with that wonderful monsoon moisture flow really make the sands pop with action late afternoon through the night.
It's not often a person gets this wonderful light at the sands but when you do it's always pretty mind blowing. The lightning trigger had a nice workout as well.

Such an awesome shot. We don't get many of those sorts of daytime storms in England. Really do need to head over to the states in storm season next time
