Any opinions on either the K 150/4 or 150/3.5? I'm looking for small tele and 135's too short and my 180s are too huge.
I have never used the K150f4, but I have both the M135f3.5 and the M150f3.5. The M150 is noticeably larger than the M135, but not much heavier (20g). Both have similar image quality, I would say, which is to say very good. The 150mm focal length isn't much longer than, and therefore isn't much different from 135mm, but there is a difference. You can find user reviews here, including one short one that I wrote myself. Also, you can check my Flickr albums for one dedicated to the M150 if you want to see example photos.

Thanks, Jason! I had seen your review of the 3.5, but I hadn't seen the flickr album- lovely stuff. The wide variety of shots gave me a lot of confidence the lens will do what I need it to do. I do have a question about your close focus shots with the lens: Are you using tubes or a diopter? Both?
This morning I came to the realization that the K150/4 shares an optical design with the last S-M-C Tak, and it was much easier to find reviews and sample shots for that lens. Since I couldn't see any discernible difference beyond the softer softer bokeh thanks to the slightly larger max aperture, I went ahead and ordered the 3.5. It made more sense to go with the smaller, lighter one with an integrated hood.

I have used both with that lens with success. If you're looking at my shots on Flickr, check the tags for Raynox or extension tubes. I'm usually specific as to which Raynox lens I use or how much extension length I'll have on. You'll like the lens... I'm consistently surprised every time I use mine!

Yep, it's a sweetheart. It did what I needed it to do on the FX3, but I'm so happy with it, it's getting added to my travel kit for the rest of the summer. Thanks for your help.
