Lovely capture of the beauty. Most of the birds in south and west texas are banded on both legs but you got one with no bands.

What a beauty Juan, I probably wouldn't have even noticed the concrete had you not pointed it out, the bird is just way too pretty. We get these birds in Texas but it is rare enough that it is quite exciting to see them when we do. Last week I saw several in Brazil but the way things worked out I didn't manage a single photo of one.

Yes, I don�t like concrete fence posts at all

Thanks a good point! I wonder if this is a north or south American bird!
