I made this image from a lesser known path to Manley Beacon a few years ago. I recently reworked the file seeking to provide more impact from the mineral and sunrise colors. This is a bit hotter than my usual style of photo-realism. I hope you enjoy it!
There's something about seeing that shadow sweep across the salt flats in the background that make me excited to return to Death Valley this winter. I love that place.
Cool spot to shoot from. Nice work. Colors def made me go 'woah' when I opened so maybe take those down some. The bright point back left at the top of the peaks is also drawing my eye too much. Way to find a cool spot out there!
