Our third day in Craggy Garden of Blue Ridge Parkway, it was stormy and windy. After heavy rain during the late afternoon, the mountains were embraced with moving clouds. Fogs were climbing up along the slopes all over the places. We have been waiting and waiting for a moment that the sun could appear through the fog and clouds. Yeah, all of sudden and briefly, here came the sun. Being prepared, we were promptly enough to click the buttons to capture this special moment: a dreamland scene that we have been longing for. Shortly after taken this image, the entire area was swallowed completely by the boundless fogs.

Great timing, patience, and location. Beautiful image. Since the sunstar is weak, might be best to remove the few rays to clean the image up.
My personal preference is to have the sunstar there so I used a small aperture here. I would try to see how it works by removing the sunstar. Thanks for your suggestion.
