I'll miss him terribly.
I loved that he did his thing his way and seemed to really enjoy being different. Can you tell us anything that would help explain what he was going through. Certainly there was nothing I saw in his posts or his photos that would have hinted this direction.

Audii-Dudii was one of the photographers at FM whose work I most admired. His nighttime pictures of the urban landscape made with one or other of his Frankencameras were both beautiful and unique. He will be greatly missed.

My sincere condolences, Jeffrey. I had some great tech camera-related conversations with him and am saddened by the news.

Gonna depend on the lens. Some old lenses are amazingly and surprisingly good and some newer lenses not so much, and sometimes the reverse is true, or sometimes it's in the middle. You gotta just buy the lens and see if it meets your personal needs and don't worry about what you read or don't read on some online forum.
Bobby - I was in Monterey all last week but I got notification that one of these was delivered to my studio last Thursday. Looking forward to testing it out.
A few I shot last week both in the general area of Monterey and on the way there from L.A. All but one of these were with the C Canon 135mm t/s-e, which is just amazing on this camera. And of course I had to take my mandatory trip down the Old Coast Road in Big Sur - the road you used to have to take prior to 1932 when Bixby Creek Bridge was built.
