#8 was hardly a keeper because of the cut hand and it's also a little bit blurry, but the model liked it a lot so I added it here...

Thank you for looking at my photos. C&C are welcome!

Nicely done. Which of the 2 cameras/lenses do you prefer to use?

Yeah, and it opens up to 1.2. That's a magic lens! lol

I am a Canon guy. I don't feel quite at home as with an EOS 1D/5D using a D810, it's usability is just cumbersome. But I really can't say which camera is best. The 5DS R produces stunning files, so does the D810. Yes, the latter has better DR but I will never underexpose for highlights and recover 3+ stops in post. At least, that's not for my kind of photos.

However, the 105mm 1.4E is a different story. There's nothing quite like that in current Canon's lineup of lenses. Its sharpness is on par with the Canon 300 2.8 IS, that's the sharpest lens I've ever used and it's a monster of a lens. As for bokeh, that's easily comparable with the Canon 85mm 1.2L II, though the latter (at least the copy I've used) is not as sharp and not as fast to focus. The 135 f2L may be close but I find it (again, maybe the copy I've used) less contrasty.
The 105mm 1.4E is just perfect, in every way. Well, maybe except for the price. Nikon's 85 1.8G is a very good lens and I think it's better than Canon's equivalent (obviously I'm not taking about the 85mm 1.2L II). A really good bang for the buck.

I'm adding a black and white photo. Again, thank you for looking at my photos

They are all excellent, but the first two are just spectacular!

Can't argue with beauty this well distilled. Personally, I am blind to your gear. The images are on an island unto themselves. Thanks for sharing.

Indeed, I too think the results are what matter the most but after all this is a photography forum and someone may land here to get inspiration for their new gear. Hopefully, I'm not starting another flame war tho

You will get no flame war with these pics. No one will look at these pics and find any words of enough importance to allow that to happen. On another note, there is only one pic of the third model in this series. Any more of her? She is exceptionally beautiful.

Another great series of images. The images speak for themselves. Posing and lighting is well done along with beautiful models. A winning combo. I will give some feedback though as I can't let you off easy in two sets. . Now that we know you present beautiful work, the only nitpick I would offer is the hair. The beautiful bokeh in your images brings the viewers eyes to the hair. It amplifies any imperfections. A tough problem as you face wind, walking around etc.., so don't get me wrong. They are still beautiful images and would not second guess them, but if your looking to up your game. Watch the hair

No, I wasn't talking about the pics. I'm always reluctant to talk gear because I know I can hurt somebody's faith.

She is beautiful indeed. I may start a new thread with other pics of her in the future.

Again, thank you Jay!

In fact, that's a very good point you should have elaborated a bit more. Just keep in mind that even if you can't call them "casual" shots I had no make up artists nor hair stylists at my disposal. I know, that would have helped a lot to make them look more professional.

A blind man could pull off some keepers with that lineup, eh?

The first model could talk her way into any bank vault on Earth with those eyes and lips...the Goddess version of Medussa
