p.1 #1 · A spectacular handwork of mother nature - basalt columns
When I visited Iceland in 2016, I managed to go to the waterfall, Aldeyjarfoss in Northern Iceland after driving the awful gravel road.
The waterfall itself was very beautiful, but I was immensely impressed with the basalt columns surrounding the waterfall.
What a joy to see the spectacular handwork of mother nature!
I took the images all around but here is one small area that I am presenting for you!

Hey Kee,
What really cool looking columns, much like the Devils Postpile here in California.
Have you tried rotating this and cropping a bit to lose the water in the lower left? Not sure if losing the water would add or subtract from the shot, but I would try that rotate/crop if this was mine just to see what it looked like.

Nice details.

Hello Jim,
Thanks for your feedback and suggestions. Yes, I included that water area in the lower left corner after much consideration. I did the entire? rock formation panorama shots and at the other end, there is waterfall.
Yes.. this area reminds of the Devils Postpile in California. But I think this area's basalt columns are much more elaborated and artistic in someway.
