Looking through some photos from my July trip to Oaxaca, and like these images better with a fair amount of crop. Definite advantage to shooting these on the D850
First shots with it, not dissappointed. I've never had a lens I liked for shooting indoors with before, this gives me so much room to work. Schools closed today in Chicago area, outside temp about -25 so kids are home and so am I.
The first photo's since I have the lens this week.
It is a perfect combo to my 58mm. I post some of the 58 to see the combo work :-)
I love to shoot people so...
The weather in Queensland still continues to swelter in March and today and the next few days will be hovering around 35 degC.
Shot of Cous Cous later this afternoon "Life's Good" LG. The 28E still continues to amaze me.

I'm watching all these great 3D-like pictures with smooth bokeh taken with 28/1.4 wide open and getting jealous. I'm jealous not because I don't own such a nice lens but because I don't shoot scenes in portraiture style / wide open.
And for stopped down shooting there are other lenses with a signature getting more uniform.
One more gem I like watching pictures taken with is 105/1.4.
I have to start taking portraits of anybody and anything to justify buying these two toys
