Great behavior set Thang. I once had a similar occasion, except an unseen largemouth bass took the dragon on the bottom. The top dragon barely escaped being lunch.
Nice drama, Thang. To go from the dragon flies alone to the grebe attacking with 1000mm worth of lenses is really something. Thanks for making the day more interesting.

You gave me too much credit Kirk. Was photographing the Grebe family near by. Saw these three dragon flies doing their thing and started snapping away. The next thing I knew the parent popped up in the viewfinder out of nowhere....
