My daughter wasn't going to go to prom, but this lovely gentleman asked her at the last minute. We went out after they got all dressed up and spent about 30 minutes doing pictures. Are they not a gorgeous couple? These were all taken in a small area downtown, and all with my 85L - didn't even get the 200 out for anything this time. I can't believe my girl is graduating and heading off to college! Very bittersweet. Ironically, I'll be shooting my eldest son's senior prom on Friday. He graduated 2 years ago, but his girlfriend is a senior this year, so he is taking her.
(3) tone down the backlight between their heads if you can. A bit too much IMO. Distracts from an otherwise fine image. I love backlight, but moderation is the key.
(8) not totally sold on the truck in the b/g. Definitely see how you were going for the tie in with the red... probably could get used to it, but would like to see it without the truck for comparison.
Another fabulous set. I feel like you could have taken pictures with 15 year old point and shoot of these two and the results would have been excellent, what a great looking couple.
Lisa, these are awesome and timely (my daughter's junior prom is Saturday). I had been asked to take photos of her (and now apparently 4 of her closest friends ). I have been frantically searching for poses and ideas . . .I appreciate the inspiration . . .
