I haven't tried 4K myself, but on Page 356 of the manual there is a table that shows what cards are necessary to shoot movies of various quality, and there it says that a UHS-1 SD card that is 90MB/sec or faster will work to shoot 4K.

Just by whatever card meets specs and get one from a reliable vendor.

The only real advantage of faster cards may be faster file transfer to your computer.

"No" to what?
The test is nice. CF is faster than SD but no words about write video.

Thanks for the advice.
I've one last doubt: is it a real advantage to use one bigger file (using ExFat format cards) instead of several smaller files (Fat32) for editing purposes?

FWIW: I recently registered for email notifications at B&H for their specials, and this morning got one mentioning the Lexar 32GB 1066 CF cards (2-pack) at a good price. With the 30MP 5DIV files, I prefer the 64GB cards, but these will work for my upcoming trip to India.
