A wonderful image - I gasped as it came up on my screen - very few images have that effect !
So right in Monochrome too - it really conveys its' majesty.

+1...I also gasped when it came up on my screen. It truly looks prehistoric. I can't imagine what it must feel like to stand there in person and see this (though this image gets me close to that feeling). Well done!

This is one of the Baffin Island’s locations that I am really looking for to come back to in 2017. During the last trip, I only had a chance to spend one night in that area. This time I plan to utilize the full potential of this phenomenal mountain. When I saw it for the first time, I instantly fell in love with these mysterious peaks. They create an impression as if they belonged to the prehistoric, or mythical world full of dragons.
I hope that this monochrome photo can give you a bit of feeling that I experienced while standing at the base of this unnamed peak. As I have found out local Innuit communities call that peak Innatiavaluk, but still, on the map, it has no name.
