I'm still continuing to work the green hills in the Bay Area before it goes away. Went exploring the Sunol Regional Wilderness and lucked out on some dramatic afternoon light. It was pretty windy on the ridge so it was hard to get everything tack sharp, but i think it came out decent (if you don't pixel peep :P).
Thanks everyone for the warm reception. I've been having a blast just exploring the green hills. It's getting some brown patches now so its going to fade soon. I hope to get some more shots in before its all gone.
Super cool shot! think you could jack the iso up to make sure you get something sharp. always better than shake blur. Might be able to drop a bit off the sky as, while it's good, most of the drama is in the greenery. nicely processed as well

thanks Aaron. I think I shot this at iso 800 but maybe I should've pushed it some more . I'm so scared to go high (comes from the fears of my old 5d mk II haha). I see your point on cutting off the sky a bit more. May rethink my crop.
