Thanks Dave! Yes, I wish I had more opportunities for some in flight shots but I am pretty happy with what I got. Looking forward to printing a couple.
Wow Mike, this is a really fine set of images. The GGO is so beautiful, and I love that the color tones of the habitat compliment the Owl so well.
Excellent compositions in 1, 2, and 7... #5 is my favorite perched image.
Wonderfully captured and processed... and a real pleasure to view.

Thank so much for the kind and thoughtful comments Kirk. As luck would have it, this owl has not departed on it's northward journey and I was able share another awesome evening shooting it in some sweet light. More pics to come
Incredible and beautiful set! Each is really special. Normally I'm not a fan of man-made structures in wildlife pictures but I make an exception here. I think those elements add value; you've incorporated them well.
