Beautiful model and great photography, not to mention a cool setting. The entire set is fantastic! Glad I clicked.
Thanks for sharing.

I am far removed from the fashion industry, but this girl looks ill. Then again, this might be a perfect cultural reflection. Saying that, nice job on light and color!

No, just an honest observation. The stoned look detracts from the image. No different from when a model is stiff or in an awkward pose.

It is what those who rule the fashion industry wanted and apparently still want.
I have no criticisms of the photo itself, of course.

What a fantastic portrait. And the styling!!! You have my dream job.
The critics are funny....most people who aren't into fashion don't "get it".
Yes I agree. Some people on forums make photos for each other and follow rules and have formed opinions and ideas that have little to do with the world outside forum land and have no idea how to work with creative teams that include art directors, designers, editors etc. And if it's REAL fashion it is ultimately about the cloths.

It's what the piece required and the client is happy which apparently the client is because it is published and this is not the first time this photographer has shot for this client.
And as far as real goes many on forums put the emphasis on the model and in the real world it is the clothes and the life style, that they the clothes, represent that is the emphasis and why he is shooting it and those others are on the outside looking in criticizing.
