Are there two price structures, or only one?
The Upload/Buy and Sell reads like there are two separate price structures.
One for regular and one for the PLUS.
OR is the PLUS for any membership of one year or more
Is the plus automatic with one year or more and the NOT plus for less than one year?

I just got an email that my membership has just expired (I was always on auto-pay so it was easy). It was always $24.90/yr... I really don't care about the Plus features, but apparently I have to pay for them anyway?? As best I can tell, there is only 1 price structure to renew which is apparently for Plus? And that is $59/yr ?? So the price for Buy & Sell Membership has DOUBLED??
How do I sign up for just the "standard" 1 yr membership?

I've gotten a lot of joy and use from your website for over 16 years.... thanks!
Over those years I have often paid and used the buy and sell forum. My membership just expired and I was a bit shocked to see the price increase. The new price will preclude me from participating since, unlike some other on the forum, I am not a constant seller on the forum. I think the new price structure will deter many of the good but more casual sellers in the forum that makes FM a great place to be.
Maybe you could come up with a different sort of annual plan, closer to last years price, with a limited number of post for the year (24?). I think this would help bring back folks like myself that are good forum members but don't do big volumes.

I would agree, I was a bit shocked to see how much the cost of membership has increased. I'm a long time member, and have paid for a membership for the last couple years. I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger on my renewal as I feel the new pricing has become a bit excessive.

Hi Fred, Just bringing it to your attention that one week ago I renewed my membership for 2-years but Upload & Sell hasn't turned back on.

Patience, Grasshopper, it'll suddenly change to "on" status, at some time between now and some indeterminate time. Why? No one really knows. Rest assured, though, you've paid your $, it WILL change.

Another minor issue with RENEWAL is that on my PP Acct it is set up for a 2 year renew but when renew comes it is only for 1 and I have no option on FM to correct this and PM's go unresponsive about problem.
Hope Fred can fix this. This is my 17th year on U&S...

I'm not seeing any clickable links to enable me to join or figure out the pricing. Please advise. (Sorry if it's obvious and I missed it but I clicked everywhere and looked carefully.)
Is one of these memberships a requirement to do any selling at all?

Affirmative, you gotta pay your $60 to sell, then you gotta wait till the FM system logs it and recognizes it that you have paid it, and that's for some folks as long as two weeks before you can do that. Just the way it's been for some folks.

Thanks for this feature. Will you bring the new feature of locking a thread that has been solved or been abandoned a long time ago?
That would lessen the mess on the first page of every subforum.
But for that, we would have to pay first and the system would need time to reflect that.
As said by other members that it takes a lot of time for the system to reflect that we are paid members.
Would you resurrect that?

I just renewed my membrship. I have been a member since 2005. Last year the buy/sell membership cost $29. This year I was charged $59. Is that really the correct price? That is a 100% increase in one year. Doesn't seem right to me, but I can't find any info on the price of a membership on the site. Any help in understanding this would be appreciated.
