35K with many more to come I hope. If you're able to produce photographs like these on a part time basis, I'm really looking forward to what's to come when you retire.
Wonderful work, and I hope your working years pass by quickly. Retirement is a wonderful thing.
Thanks
Tom
Retirement is the light at the end of the tunnel that is keeping me going buddy! Thanks for the pleasant comment and your visit
Karl
I'll start by saying that no one captures the RWBB as beautifully as you do, wonderful color, detail, and comps buddy. Cool shot of the Harrier too, did the Chippy survive the flyover?
Where do I begin... Of the 35k, I'm not sure what the ratio is between the excellent pics you've posted, and the posts in which your words of encouragement and experience have helped so many others including me... but I'm quite sure the vast majority is the latter. Your posts take a lot of time because so much thought goes into each one, and it is greatly appreciated as you're hearing from so many in this thread.
My hope is that you will be able to get out more often in beautiful light and do more of what we love to do my friend.

Well I had a few accelerated years when the economy took a dump and I had a job but no customers to talk to, thank goodness for FM to keep my mind busy!
Thanks Jim

Dear Karl,
Congrats on an awesome milestone. May there be many more of these. You have unselfishly helped newbies like me, for which this forum has benefited. Please continue to comment and critique and present such lovely gems.
Best regards,
KD
That is very kind of you KD, I am glad it has been appreciated. I hope those that I have critiqued find it more as encouragement
Take care
Karl
Congrats Karl!!!!!! You have been an important mentor for allot of us olde timers. Now just sit back and enjoy! Doesn't hurt to post when you want to...
Again tanks for all your contributions to FM!
Dan
Karl, I need to congratulate you on your very constructive criticisms on the Nature forum over the years, and secondarily on the number of posts you have made. You know how to make people look and feel good. So kudos to you for your quality contributions! I am still struggling to reach 10,000 posts after 13 years, not that I am in a hurry to reach that figure.

Karl, congratulations on the milestone. I for one have benefited greatly from all your comments and suggestions . You truly have helped me grow and see things in a different light. You share your talent and knowledge so graciously and generously. A mere tank you seems inadequate.
I love your set . I look forward to you being able to spend more time doing what you do so well. On the selfish side, I look forward to you helping us
Birdie
As you know it has been equally as enjoyable for me to view your work and allow me to present some outside the box thoughts on comps and tweaks Birdie, I respect how well you accept my intrusion at times
There is a lot of talent here, it's nice we have a place to share it and exchange appreciation for what we post.
Keep at it, you have such wonderful diversity and amazing talent!
Thanks for your kind words...........much appreciated
