I am contemplating getting a GFX50R, I prefer the side viewfinder. I currently own a X-pro2 and it produces excellent images. What surprised me about the 50R is actually smaller than the Canon 7D which I used to own a long time ago. The only thing that is stopping me from buying the 50R is the size of the lenses.

I rented the GFX 50R this past weekend for a long weekend trip my family took down to the beach. After getting over the initial shock of how big it was compared to my X-T4, it was a pleasure to use. I like the range finder body and it was easy for me to carry and hold when I was out on the beach (I also don't have the biggest hands).
Definitely something to think about for me, but I do appreciate the compactness of my X-T4 and XF lenses. But the GFX 50R may be something I consider down the line. I rented the GF35-70mm and the lens wasn't huge, but I do see a lot of the GF lenses are rather big, but I figured that would be the case with MF.
A couple of close crops of feathers of some birds visiting our feeder this winter. Not for everyone maybe, but I use the PS oil paint filter to soften the light and edges and make a slightly more abstract image. There's nothing like having a large sensor with a very sharp lens in front of it and mashing the resulting image details in software.
