From late August just outside my kitchen window. This is about 10% of the original image.

Not the most interesting photo, but a demonstration of the wide-end bokeh of the 35-70. I actually like it.

And now some architecture. Again the 35-70, here at 70 mm f/7.1. Corrected for keystoning and cropped a bit accordingly.
I must say that this little lens draws very nicely. The borders and corners are a tad soft at the long end, but in a very pleasing way. "Silky", not jittery or harsh softness. Probably mostly spherical aberration and nothing much more.

Edit: Here I used the "film standard" profile in C1 instead of Fujis own film simulations. It gives a bit more bite and less deeply saturated colors. Probably more accurate too. The only problem is when DR is large, because you cannot recover highlights nearly as good as with the Fuji profiles for some reason.

Thanks! Here's a better view from todays ride, again with the little zoom.
Not the best choice of bike for this terrain, but it worked alright.

Edit: Note the shutter speed, by the way. This is why I upgraded from 50R to 50S II.

She's a beauty! Love the dark color and purple (?). Love the 1x drivetrain and the wide tires! Yeah, the no suspension probably gave your arms one hell of a workout

I used to have a SuperX (cyclocross) with two sets of tires, and that was such a fun and fast bike. I loved riding it, but had to sell it since it wasn't the right size for me.

Now I'm riding an older Specialized single speed. I'm a big fan of no front derailleurs. Hills on a single speeds are quite an adventure.

Back to camera stuff...

It's my "do it all" bike that I ride every day to work, to the store, to shoot my camera, and lots of other errands. The dark color is actually a sparkling purple too, but it doesn't show in images unless shot in full sunlight. The frame is very long for a drop-bar bike and it's heavy as f... But that doesn't matter for how I use it. It's meant to take a beating and work reasonably well on every type of road or trail.

Back to cameras, yes. And bikes. Here's another one from earlier on the same ride...

You must have some gorgeous places to ride off-road in Sweden. We have good gravel in the Midwestern US, but I'd love more trail-like off the beaten path places that you are showing. Just got my first gravel bike last spring. Really love it but haven't figured out how to carry my cameras on it yet.

Yes, definitely! We have what is called "all mans right" (allemansrätten, in swedish), which means that you are allowed to walk and ride your bike on other peoples property, as long as you do not disturb or destroy anything. So, any trail, path or road is open for cyclists if there isn't any local ban for particular reasons. The owner of a property can not prohibit people from being there, which might sound strange, but it works very well when it applies to everyone, everywhere.
This means that there are natural, accessible trails practically everywhere close to inhabited areas, with no fees, permits or anything.

I use one of these to bring the GFX when riding; both MTB and on roads: https://www.evocusa.com/products/hip-pack-capture-7l

That sounds fabulous, but it would never work with the culture as it is in the states. And it's only gotten much worse over the past 4 years. Liable to get yourself shot. Lovely, eh?

Ugh, jealous. Cannot tell you how many times I've gone off-trail here in Colorado or recently in New York only to find myself getting cut off by a private property sign with barely a home in sight.

I don't want to derail this into a political discussion, but while I haven't been to the US, I'd not say the culture is that different. It's more a question of what you are used to, and how people adapt to their rights.
It's natural to want to keep others out from your property (many do it here too, even if it's illegal). But, when you think about it a bit more logically, there is really no practical reason for it unless it causes damage to your lands. And while a trail could be considered "damage", it doesn't damage the value of the property. In fact, it can contribute to more diverse eco systems and better growth.
The allemansrätten is actually not a law, but an old custom that has been living on due to everybody being used to it. And if you can thread on my land, I can thread on yours. Because of that, you get the same benefits as everyone else despite having to "give up" some of your privacy. And you are still free to cultivate the land, conduct forestry and everything else that brings an income from the property. It's still yours, but it remains free to access to others. Very nice solution IMO, and it's found to some extent also in Britain and other european countries.

Two random images from yesterday, both with the 35-70. The first one is hand-held and with a polarizer, the second one is with a tripod. Kind of unusal for me.

Edit: Just noticed that EXIF says "Color Space - Uncalibrated". These were exported directly from C1, and I think they lost some punch in the colors compared to the RAW's. Maybe expected because of sRGB, but why "uncalibrated"? Is there a setting that I'm missing somewhere?

Not how I envisioned this scene when I shot it, but I think the 65:24 crop works well here. I really struggled with the white balance because of the strong colour cast from the B+W ND filter - this is about 3200k.

Too much water in the forest streams now, after the recent atmospheric river event.

Reminds me of my Charles Roberts frame configured as a touring/commuting bike — wide gearing, fatter tires, dropped bars (like my road bike), full fenders, racks front and rear, and lights.

Nice.
