A couple of shots from a recent vacation on Cape Cod. This is from Rock Harbor in Orleans. I've had the GFX 50s for one year now, and I still could not be happier with the overall shooting experience with this camera and the GF lenses. I wouldn't mind a slight boost in the shot-to-shot speed, but I can live it the way it is (I guess I have to, unless a new firmware upgrade comes out and address this).

Great shots. Wondering out loud if switching from mechanical to EFCS might help the shot-to-shot speed. The mechanical shutter on the 50S reminds me a lot of manually winding 6x7 film to the next frame

I also turn off my color chrome affect which blacks out the viewfinder and takes time to process before another shot can be taken. A lot happier with my 50r now.

Thanks James. And yes, the mechanical shutter on the GFX is a bit like opening and closing a garage door, but I find it more satisfying in terms of haptics than the EFCS, though I'll keep that in mind next time I'm feeling any frustration with working speed. With the type of shooting I do this usually isn't a problem, but I do notice it once in a while.
More beach shots from a recent vacation. These were taken in the exact same spot on the beach, but about 10 minutes apart. For the first image, the benefit of the 50MP sensor is apparent as this is about 20% of the original image.
