Question for mike Reid,
"I noticed a little vignetting with the Otus 85 and very little vignetting with the Otus 28, were these crops or were these full sized captures?"
If they were not cropped, that is definitely a tolerable amount considering the Otus was made for full frame.
Amazing detail and IQ.
The DOF on the cat is literally a few inches, tips of paws are OOF and behind the ears are OOF; great shot.
Finally, some shooting with the GFX50S that's not just a test subject. Palm frond, Potawatomi Conservatory, South Bend, Indiana. With the 250/4 on its maiden trip!

What adapter are you using?
The 28 Otus shots were cropped. The 85 Otus shots were not. I was using the Kipon AF adapter. The cat shot was using the Kipon adapter and a fotodiox dummy Contax - Canon adapter.
When I bought, I ordered the Fringer, got the wrong size, the Viltrox, and it seemed really cheap and not durable. I finally ordered the Kipon, https://www.adorama.com/kagfxcefaf.html , and kept it. I don't obsess too much about AF but it seemed alot faster on my 30yo Canon 200/1.8 than the Metabones was on my Sony a7r2.
One note so far: If you run one of those Fotodiox dummy Contax to Canon adapters, make sure you get the chipped one or you will get an Lens Error message.

I would be using Leica R lenses, I have a pretty large range, so A/F is not an issue for me.
How much are you having to crop to eliminate the vignetting?
