I am a fan but why so much space to the left?
I like when my photos tell stories and I think the empty space adds some drama and intrigue to the image.

That is superb
Superb use of negative space to induce feeling of doubt about where the body actually is and how it might move.
An absolutely wonderful change from most leopard shots (many magnificent in their own way) and so appropriate for an essentially 'night cat'.
Very well shown.
Thank you so much for your wonderful comments....I did hope to convey something out of the ordinary even though as you say a beautiful leopard is quite good on its own.

Excellent composition and absolute winner Eric.
Thanks Louie....of the many hundreds of shots I got that evening this is really the only one that worked to give the kind of mood I was looking for.

Lottsa impact in that shot, Eric. Although my first instinct would be to show a dark outline of the cat's body, however faint it might be, I am not sure what would be better, i.e., show some body, or show none as you did. Either way, you've got a winner there.
Thanks Peter...the way the leopard was positioned there is no body to show at all. I have another image that does what you suggest and it just doesn't have the same impact....being fair, it doesn't have the same eye contact which is what I think makes this image work.
