Nice series Herb. #2 is my favorite, what a great looking image, congrats! More proof that these owls do not need luring in order to get great in-flight shots, for those who are willing to put in the time anyway.
That airshow must be fascinating to see live but your outstanding images allow me to see some of their amazing moves captured in a split-second. As usual, your combination of good light, complimentary background and great camera skills results in a feast for the eyes; what a treat to see these!

Thanks Eric, but you were probably watching football and eating turkey. My wife and I had no commitments, so we spent the holiday with 12 shorties flying and hunting around us naturally.
